Hi there, I am 10 weeks pregnant today - I took a pregnancy progress home finger prick blood test at 6 weeks ( Medichecks) this stated my progesterone was 23 - at 9!weeks I had spotting - my doc wasn’t concerned and said unless I fill a pad nothing can be done etc, so I booked a private scan, spotting stopped that day and everything looked ideal on the scan - however there was no explanation for the spotting so I took the same progesterone home test again ( at 9 weeks - just received results today) - and it stated my level was 15 ( this would mean a drop from the 6 week level) again doc says this is still in the normal range and as I’m not bleeding I shouldn’t be concerned ( and that finger prick tests aren’t always accurate) - I guess I’m just wondering whether to take my utrogestan suppositories that I have left over from a failed ivf, obviously health professionals won’t agree with this - just wondering if anyone has any experience with this??

If your progesterone is in the normal range and your scans look fine I really wouldn't take anything unless your doctor or midwife recommended it. Maybe speak to them about your concerns before taking any medications.
