I had an abortion almost 3 weeks ago (a medical one so I did it all at home) and I had the bleeding which lasted till about 2 days ago.

On Tuesday I passed 2 larger clots than I had done that week and phoned BPAS to ask advice. I had an appointment today and she said that there is some remaining tissue left.

But I’ve completely stopped bleeding! Is this normal? To have some of the tissue left but have your bleeding end?

She’s booked me in for a surgical procedure and I’m scared I’m having it when I don’t need to!

Help!

It's fairly common for your body to retain some tissue, regardless of wether you've stored bleeding. If a healthcare professional had told you there's retained tissur it's best to have it removed otherwise you run the risk of getting an infection.
