Baby girl arrived

The evening of the 8th, I enjoyed a Chinese and watched some tv. “Eek I really need to poop” I said to my other half as I rushed out the door.. get on toilet but no need to poop.. so I stand up and my water breaks at 11:35pm. I call the hospital and make my way in. I have a lovely midwife and my partner is with me. Mum drove us.

I was checked for dilation which made me cry out abit, she was so patient and said 2cm. Contractions began quite near each other and then the urge to push was there. I held back on first one because, I was scared haha, but then thought.. well there’s only one way this baby can come out so the midwife held one leg and partner the other and puuuush... three pushes later a beautiful girl gets placed on my chest. Most amazing feeling ever. Arrived 5:19am on the 9th.

Thanks to all who supported me through pregnancy.

I have my midwife round tomorrow to do prick on heel and weigh my little girl. Check in with me etc. Next chapter begins now
