What to do

Hi, I'm 38 and was trying to conceive without any success for about 7 months. Previously took cerazette. Luckily my insurance covers fertility testing but not treatment (if it's needed). Wondering what should I do with these results? Go to NHS GP for IVF referral? What are the guidelines for IVF at NHS - would they do it if there is no obvious cause for infertility (my initial scan is normal and pharmacy ovulation tests come up positive each month)? Just starting to navigate and trying to understand what I can expect.

Hi there

I would suggest booking an appointment with your GP so they can talk you through all your available options. It might also be worth looking at the Fertility Fairness website as they have lots of useful information on there: fertilityfairness.co.uk/

I hope this helps.

Best wishes

Katherine
