What are your thoughts on taking a bath during v early pregnancy ??

I'm 3-4 weeks pregnant and really fancy a soak.

I won't have it too hot but suddenly thought maybe I'm not meant too.

Xx

You can have a bath whenever you want and I always have mine hot only cooled temp down when baby started to move so I knew when it was too hot... But my daughter always liked it hot it calmed her down lol

Thanks for that, I just had a bath but not as hot as usual . I've got a backache , the ache in my tummy did ease a little when I had the bath. 😊

Yeah baths will become your best friend as pregnancy progresses! It's great for beginning cramps then when your baby moves the bath will normally calm them down especially when they kick the hell out of your back, bladder and every other organ!! Haha. Glad the bath helped. Hot water bottle helps too when it's cooled down a little but it on your back really helps that too calms moving babies around in the future. Except my daughter pushed against my back when I had one on my back cos she wanted to be close to the heat!! Lol

Did you get much abdo pain when you were 3-4 weeks pregnant?

Sometimes it feels like a sort of stitch. Then other times my tummy feels like it's being stretched , especially at the sides.

Yes got bad pains with 3 pregnancies ended up bleeding with my other two. I'm 7 weeks with my third had bad pains but turned out to be a urine infection which I'm prone to when pregnant. You should mention to your midwife or gp your having pains she may test you for a UTI. Pain is normal but pain that stops you from doing normal activities isn't normally normal but I was fine with my two and have been with the pains with this one too hope this helps. Ive had a lot of issues with bleeding, pains and pre eclampsia so it you need advice or anything just message me :)
