hi, i have missed my period that was due end of december (29th) but i came on the 29th for one day and this was just spotting it wasnt normal period. ive done a pregnancy test on wednesday 3rd in the afternoon, i didnt wee alot on it. it was negative but im getting all symptoms my boobs are so sore and ive still not come on my period my belly is also hard and i feel sick and no appetite.

Give it a week and try another test using your first morning wee. The test has a control line on to tell you if the reading is accurate. A lot of early pregnancy symptoms are the same as PMT so try not to think too much into it for now. Good luck! X

The bleeding pattern on 29th sounds like implantation to me... but you can never be sure if it was an implantation unless the BFP confirms it. I'd say now that you're well past implantation (if any) it will give a clear positive of HPT. Though I don't like to rely on symptoms much as they are not much different than PMS and tend to confuse more - I do believe in instinct. If you feel you're pregnant and there's no sign of it on HPT get a beta done for sure. Sometimes the HCG is not metabolised in urine - late or not at all: in that case, there won't be positive on HPT even if you're pregnant. Wish you luck!

Well, implantation is the process when the blastocyst (8 celled embryo) attaches itself in the uterus for developing into the baby in 9 months - if you're pregnant. As the process involved digging a bit for the embryo to attach sometimes it is accompanied by bleeding - can be from spotting to what looks like a light period. You could be,... there's an equal possibility for both yes or no at this point. As per the symptoms go it's hard to say that you're not without the confirmation of a BFN on an HPT (home pregnancy test). Go on get an HPT and you'll know for sure. I'll advise you not to delay the HPT since the sooner you know the better it is to plan ahead... whatever it be.

You continue to feel all nausea and stuff till date ? Only the loss of appetite is the only contrary symptom to pregnancy, though my symptoms are whimsical and I don't count on them much. Is it your first pregnancy? See it can well be that you're not pregnant but if you have a inner feeling you are best get a beta. Unlike HPT beta is never wrong and it also rule out the false result owing not metabolising HCG in urine.

I have loss my appetite, I feel sick after eating a few mouthfuls and metallic tatse in my mouth

I'll say get a beta done - you need to be sure whether you're pregnant or not for sure. If it's negative and you still continue to feel all the morning sickness better consult Dr on what other possible cause could be there - diagnosis should help. As far as I know other than pregnancy, there is a few digestive system related problems and a couple of other reproductive system related disorders that can give you same symptoms.

It’s a blood HCG Test which has stronger detection levels than a urine pregnancy test. Ask your doctor
