I suffered a miscarriage in May after coming off a long haul flight. I just found out I'm pregnant again and although I'm excited, I'm very nervous that I'm going to have another miscarriage.
Im due to go on a short haul flight in 2 weeks, but now I'm thinking of cancelling it. Perhaps I'm over reacting.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I completely understand why you are anxious given your previous experience. However, the guidance from medical experts is very clear - if your pregnancy is straightforward, flying is not harmful for you or your baby. There is a risk post 37 weeks (or post 32 weeks if carrying a twin pregnancy) that you could go in to labour during the flight, which is why most airlines will not allow you to fly at this point in your pregnancy. But apart form that, unless you have pregnancy complications, flying is safe.
This leaflet from the RCOG should help reassure you, but if you are very worried maybe speaking with your GP or midwife could help to put your mind at ease:
