Pains in early pregnancy

I'm around 5/6 weeks pregnant and I get pains very similar to period pains just not a severe. They're not all the time just a few times a day. I also suffer from pelvic congestion syndrome, it's not those pains tho I'm very familiar with those pains. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Kitty.

Hi there

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Cramps in early pregnancy are quite normal, however, if the pains do get worse or if you begin bleeding you should seek medical advice immediately.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
