hi, ive been on the depo Injection for just over 2 years , how quickly will I become pregnant if ive missed a shot

Hi there

Fertility can be slow to return and there can be a delay of up to 1 year in the return of fertility after discontinuation of progestogen-only injectable contraception. However, if you do not wish to conceive you should start another contraceptive method before or at the next scheduled injection.

Perhaps you should take a pregnancy test ( which you can get from most supermarkets and pharmacies) in 3 weeks time to ensure you are not pregnant.
