Help I'm worried

Hi I have been off the pill for over. Year now and have regular sex with my bf and still haven't fallen pregnant am so worried am in fertile I've always had long realationships for years now and a wasent always taking the pill I would forget it's really getting me down because I feel I would like a baby now , I had a smear test and had to her abnormal cells lazered away is this the problem ? How can I find out if I'm infertile please help

As you have been trying to conceive for a year, you should pop down to your GPs to have a chat about it. They will be able to talk to you about your cycle, ways to improve your chances of conceiving and make sure there isn’t anything that might be affecting your fertility. It is unlikely that the abnormal cells would be an issue in terms of conceiving, but again it is worth discussing this with your GP. Do try not to worry – just because you didn’t conceive in the past when taking the pill irregularly doesn’t mean you are infertile. There are lots of other factors, such as the partner you were with or the time of month you had unprotected sex, that could have impacted on your chances of conceiving. I completely understand it must be getting you down, so it might be best to go and speak to your GP sooner rather than later.
