Hi I’ve recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis and have taken alendronate acid for 3 weeks. After today’s dose am experiencing groin pain and wondering if it’s a side effect and if anyone else has experienced this

I have been on Alendronic acid for 3 years and do not have any problems with it

I had to change to a different drug because of side effects. I felt like I had the flu every day with aching all over my body. I also felt bloated and had really bad constipation. Just started on a different drug and so far I’ve been ok.
