My latest gp has prescribed capsaicin cream for me to try for my back pains.(post multiple compression fractures). Has anyone used it before and got benefit?. Can't say topical ibuprofen did anything, but she was trying to be helpful so I will give it a try!

Hi I got prescribed it years ago pre osteoporosis as I have spina bifada and curvature of the spine & it did nothing for me!
Great stuff,! I was given a prescription for capsaicin last year, but there wasn't any chemist that stocked it. where I am.
Good luck if you can find a pharmacy. Probably won't stock it any more because it works.
l have used it in the past for osteoarthritis it was brilliant and contains chilly however l haven’t been able to get for a few years and was told by pharmacy that it isn’t available any more so if you can get it l would recommend it
I use Biofreeze. It really works for me and it’s over the counter.
