Good morning to everyone. Has anyone had the Prolia injection for the first time? And possibly side effects starting as early as a week after injection? Thank you all.

Yes I did - aches in muscles followed by mouth ulcers, hair falling out plus other symptoms. Only had the one injection.

I am taking Prolia for almost 2 years now, from the beginning absolutely no side effects of any kind.

Just had my second injection October 10. No side effects so far.

I had two doses of Prolia and experienced deep muscle pain in both thighs, constipation, headache. The leg pain was most intense just after the injections but continued for months afterwards.

I have taken prolia for over 3 years and I'm just now starting to go on Evenity but when I did take prolia I didn't have any problems of any kind. I would recommend it and I think it you will be fine but if you have any problems at all just ask the nurse before you get it and she will be able to tell you the side effects or better yet call a pharmacist who knows everything about medicines. That will ease your mind. I wish you well!

my Mum didn't really have any issue for 3 years, now a lot of issues, i can barely live seeing it. if you have side effects early on, be glad to find out now, and do research research and research for something else
