They convinced me to take that Prolia injection twice and it has damaged me more than I thought possible. And of course doctors are admitting it has done this to me. My autoimmune system has trashed. Before I took this shot the only health problem I had was osteoporosis and now the list of problems go on and on. Been about 18 months since the last shot. Will the damage of this ever go away?

I am so sorry to hear this. Have your reactions to the drug been reported?

No I don’t think they have.

There are ways. I found this, maybe a start? Your doctor should submit a report but I think there is a way for patients to do so also. If you are in another country there is almost certainly a way to report like this. Prolia is proving really problematic for a lot of people.

Hi there, this post from 11 days ago sounds like you might have some things in common. Maybe you could PM this person and chat. I have no experience to help you.

That is disappointing after only 2 needles. Have you seen a naturopath to look at ways to boost your immune system. Monitoring gut health for immune system health seems to be talked about a lot.

So sorry to hear this because this is exactly what happened to me. I had the shot 2 years ago in January. It has changed my body forever, I believe. I do not think it will ever fully recover. My allergies which were manageable before and out of control now. Previously my IBS was mild, now I am flung from diarrhea (lost 15 lbs) to being totally stopped up. I reported the reaction early on to Amgen, and repeated an update of the report last week. I have also reported to the FDA and will update my report with them very soon. I really believe that we should all band together and bring a class action suit against Amgen. They knew there were problems, even deaths, during the trials. But, they marketed the drug like it was the Second Coming. I was given a sample shot and no written information from the manufacturer was given to me, nor was it available in the box. I asked my Doctor for it and he said he wasn't given one. He was getting his information about the drug from an App on his phone. So, I am sorry, but I do not know if it will "all go away" for you. I hasn't for me. Do whatever you can to be comfortable. I would advise taking calcium and Vitamin D under your doctor's directions. At least those can be stopped at any time, and you can check levels by checking blood tests. Am I bitter and angry, you bet. But I am determined to use that energy to seeing whatever can be done to make me more comfortable and to try and find out through testing, what it did change in my body -- since Amgen won't or can't give me that information.

Sadly no. and to stop the injections altogether puts us in an even worse predicament.

so sorry. I took four injections and it's been almost a year since I took injection number 4. I have no idea how long it will take for my problems to go away though one doctor living next door to me said there is 85% to 90% chance they will leave. But when?? Does anyone out there have answers? I am not talking about bone problems but just really weird conditions that are not even found by google search. When the hell do they go away?
