Yes! I didn't realise it could be a side effect of the prolia. But looking online I now see it can be.

I have lost about 70% of my hair. I thought it was due to the high doses of pred but there has been no regrowth even though I have now tapered to a much lower dose of pred.

It fell out in handfuls over a couple of months but has now stopped but no evidence of regrowth. I wear colorful scarves tied as a turban and am reconciled to living like this.

Do let me know if you find anyway of reversing it!

I found my hair fell out when I was on Alendronic acid. For ages I thought it was to do with menopause, but when I stopped AA my hair stopped falling out so much. I can't say it's recovered entirely it is still thinner. My doctor did admit that hair loss was a known side effect.

that’s interesting. My hair is noticeably thinning on the Alendronic acid but the gp said it’s not a side effect! She put us down to the anastrozole I take following breast cancer, but I’ve been on that for 5 years with no hair issues at all.

Its a toss up which you need most hair or bones. I guess bones are more important but my bones aren't too bad and I'm trying to take care of them naturally, so for now I'm opting for hair.

Obviously bones are more important i just asked the question as i wasn't sure the injection was the cause

That’s a bit worrying. I’ve been on it for over two years and fingers crossed am ok. I will be watching for it now.

Glad you're ok. It may be different for different people. I think menopause plays a part too. Lets face it a lot of the health problems we women have are down to age. 😀
