I take apixaban twice a day also.My question is has any one else notice this side effect.

Hi ETHEL103,

I take 10 mg of Lecalpin (same drug) every morning…..does cause some light headedness…… it’s listed as one of the most common symptoms……losartan also lists the same side effect so it’s a bit of a double whammy…….i have found that taking it first thing in the morning helps and that the symptom decreases over time…….been on lecalpin for over 12 months now……

I do have it in the morning and I find that if I do too much for the couple of hours after I take it I can be lightheaded and then it wears off. But I have found that if I go slow in the morning it is better.
