Really Low Diastolic

Good Evening everyone hope you are all doing ok

I am taking BP meds

I have now gone under the 120 mark for systolic

Lately i have been getting between 115 and 118 systolic

My diastolic was 59 which i felt was low ,i read that it shouldn't really go undef 60

When i questioned my GP she just said thats perfect

Yesterday my bp was 115/55

I was quite shocked because although i was relaxed at home it seems low for a 71 year

I am only taking 2 bp meds

1.25 Bisoprol and 8mg Candesartan

Also anticoagulant

I take 5mg Apixaban morning and night

Just wondering if anyone else has diastolic value of 55

mine is also around the same as yours on medications. Cardiologist isn’t concerned about the low diastolic. It is only an issue if you start to faint.

My father lived his last 40 years with BP at the level 90/60, without any problems. The lowest value I remember quoted here is 50/30, whereby the person still remained conscious, but obviously in trouble... I gladly remember these extreme values!
