Lercanidipine and ankle swelling

I am on 20mg of Lercanidipine but am getting ankle swelling.

I’m on Lercanidipine and not had any ankle swelling but it is the first thing the pharmacist asked me after I had been taking them for a couple of weeks. It’s quite common. Speak to your pharmacist about it.

hello sausageroll22. I also take lercanidipine 20mg, but have not experienced any swelling, (plenty of other unwelcome side effects though 🤬) deffo speak to your pharmacist.

Hi Sausageroll 22, on 10mlg of Lecalpin (same drug)….angle swelling develops during the day and recedes during night……my heart Consultant was not too worried about it….. suggested surgical stocking which I laughed at! Seems a pretty common side effect…..

Hi there , I have got ankle swelling with Spirolactin & Atorvastatin but did not think it was the drug just that my COPD and blood pressure were worse or maybe my other health conditions. Thank you for mentioning your side effect. It made me think more about my changed drugs maybe being the culprit.
