My g.p recently added Indapamine to my blood pressure medication, I also take losartan and lercanidipine. I felt ill for 14 days and after a blood test I was sent to A and E for emergency treatment, a potassium and sodium drop overnight and tablets to take at home for 7 days. I still feel ill and had a blood test today. Now I'm taking Dexosin and my ears are ringing more than usual and I've got a banging head. Anyone had similar experience with these tablets?

π bad experience with indapamine.
I have similar experience. Im on lercanidipine and ramipril and Indapamide was added. It lowered my bp but made me so ill. I couldn't get off the couch, wanted to sleep all the time and I passed out in the middle of the night . Woke up propped up against the wall of my room. It gave me headaches and dry eyes too.
So then the doc gave me doxasosin. This did nothing for my bp and gave me tinitus and low mood. So stopped that . I dont think its a preferred bp med if what i read is right.
I am about to start on another diuretic so π€.
All the best to youπ
I was on Indapamide for a couple of months. Went for a routine blood test. Had an urgent call from my GP to immediately stop the Indapamide as my potassium was dangerously low. My wife a nurse manager described the results life threatening. Google Indapamide and look at the side effects not surprised you were ill.
