Hi I was taking 5mg amplodipine for blood pressure. Because it was to high they gave me another 2.5 pill as well since then I have swollen feet. I also take pregablin for fibromalarga. So I'm not sure which pill is causing this thankyou

the first step is to have a word with your pharmacist as they are the experts in medicines and their side effects and so on. Depending on what they say you could then talk to your doc.

Hi, I agree that your pharmacist is the best person to consult. But I recently had cause to look up oedema (swelling or build up of fluid) and it said that it can be caused by various medications - for example amlodopine. Perhaps it lists it as a side effect in the leaflet accompanying the tablets?

I am taking pregabalin for peripheral neuropathy, doesn't help with the pain but doesn't cause swollen feet either! How do you get on with pregabalin? I think it's just a "fob off", have tried to stop (many times) but always go back ...don't eally know whhy!

I was in amlodipine for a while and had to change to other medications ( I am on 4 for Bp) as it caused my feet, ankles and legs to swell up, it is a common side effect of Amlodipine .

I don't know about pregabalin, but I do know for sure that Amodlopine can cause swollen feet and legs. I had this problem and was switched to a different high BP med. Talk to your doctor. This is a known side effect of amodlopine.
