12.5mg Losartan effective?

Has anyone taken 12.5mg Losartan for blood pressure? Currently on 25mg but it’s making me so dizzy and woozy and bp is reading about 115/67. Hoping I can persuade doctor to reduce it

I’m not on this particular drug, but with your readings and feeling woozy I personally would ask for a speedy review.

Hi im989. Well the BP reading is really good but the dizziness and feeling woozy really isn't. I agree with Happyrosie, you really do need a speedy review.

I was on the same drug and dosage, I had similair reaction when i first started. I asked if i could stop for a month to see effect. Dizziness stopped but BP crept up to 144/90 average.

Resumed medication, no dizziness past 6 months.

Yes, I was on it and fell a couple times. Dizziness is terrible.I'm no longer taking it.

I'm on 100mg It has helped bring my bp down to an average of 120/85.

I had asked my dr. And they said no but I just looked it up and there is 12.5!! Thanks for letting me know. I’ll ask Dr.

I'm on 50mg losartan and 2.50mg felodipine. I get day time readings of 111 over 65. GP says thats perfect. I also feel dizzy when it's that low.GP not worried about it.Im 73.
