Lactose Intolerance issues with bp meds
your pharmacist should be able to help or the specialist charity Blood Pressure UK
Thanks pharmacist continued to supply meds with lactose but I will check out that website today. Cheers
did your pharmacist know you were lactose intolerant? Perhaps not. The pharmacist has to dispense what’s prescribed of course.
Thanks. The pharmacist is prescribing because I have had so many issues but apparently it is quite difficult for them to tell if they contain lactose. Lots of meds do and I think it's knowing the quantity of lactose. Becoming a nightmare as I am now being faced with taking meds that are not often prescribed now which seems a bit ominous.
I tried Valsartan which I was told was lactose free. I gave it up after a few days though due to itchy skin symptoms.
Thanks for your comment on Lorvacs now and seems ok so far
