since having high bp and various pills i developed bad anxiety, this reduced a lot after stopping them but was still there even after a year, god knows what the pills did to my nervous system, anyway i was recomended metatone tonic, use to be called nerve tonic, now only been on it 5 days but since taking it had no anxiety whatsoever, only take 2 teaspoons in morn you can take it 3 times a day.worth a try if your anxiety is causing increase heart rate etc, usually cheap 3 pounds at home bargains etc but this week no one has it only ebay/amazon at 9pounds,nothing to lose and you can take it with most other things you take, its been about 70 years so its ok,

That’s really interesting that it works for you. The ingredients are those you’d get from any high street seller of pills and potions like Holland & Barrett so they are, as you say, Peter, OK to take. I always take zinc when I start to develop a cold and the vitamin is generally thought of as OK. I expect it’s the exact combination that does you good.

no idea i take zinc,b12,d3 as well, it certainly gives you a bit off oomph lol. i dont think holland/barret sell it though, irs worth trying as well they recon if you are a bit down, i try loads of things but a lot dont work for me, still think im 20 and can do everything , just done a 3 mile walk 7 oclock its wet and windy here.

Hi there, I was not going to reply to any further posts from Peter. But I can not sit back and read advice been give that could be potentially dangerous to some of the readers.

Because a medicine has been around for years does not mean it is always safe for everyone to take. Especially for people who may be on other medication.

Some people can not even mix certain vitimins with prescribed medication. So to say its ok to use with out any kind of warning to get it checked out first is worrying.

Prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines are tested to make sure they're safe and effective. But if you mix those drugs with other medicines or substances—intentionally or even by accident—they can have potentially dangerous effects.

Please anyone thinking of trying this otc medicine or any other otc med while on precription meds. Check it out with the pharmacist first for your own health and safety.

Hi Peter, I appreciate you are trying to help people. And its great that it works for you.

But when recommending any type of medication we do need to be careful.

Things been said like " give it a go what do you have to lose" This kind of advice could be potentially dangerous. We don't know what other kind of health problems or medications some one may be on.

And to say its onlt a vitimin does not mean it not harmful. Some vitimins do not mix with prescription meds.

For example I only found out you can not eat something as simple as grapefruit when on BP meds when I had to use them.

We must take care in what advice we give to others. We should always double check if taking something new is ok. Even OTC meds 👍
