Upset tummy

Good morning everyone. I was prescribed Cardioplen for high blood pressure. I have been taking them for 8 days and the last few days my tummy has been so sore with frequent visits to the loo. I read the leaflet but doesnt mention this as a side effect. Anyone experienced this and if so how long does it last. Cheers xx

Hi Jules. I know you have checked the Patient Info Leaflet but I have just found this on Google (if it's the one you take). It's under the "other side effects". Are you taking it when and how they say?

You could also check with your pharmacist as they have a lot more info than we can find on Google.

Oh thankyou so much for this. I am taking it as i shoukd and i see on the link it does say upset gut. Its been 2 days so im hoping itll settle down.

As springcross says, your pharmacist the first stop. By the way - you don’t mean pee do you? Just poo? Maybe think about your diet. Lots of helpful info on Blood Pressure UK.
