Im not crackers but cant enter the symbols required to show Im not a robot!! Wanted to say to the person who had so many probs with losartan...im on olprezide which is Italian version of benicar hct and I feel genuinely ill all the time with this med..comes on two hours after taking...docs have NO sympathy why would anyone complain or dream up side effects???!!! I just want bp control without pains all over weakness and now anxiety..swollen lower legs cough shaky and very unhappy someone tell me where the keys are to fill in the Im not a robot section...badly so badly need some advise..please. I had a big op on my neck 11 yrs ago and have a titanium strip screwed into vertebrae with 8 titanium screws....other than that I have all the thyroid symptoms and neg test results....no one cares!! When I worked and had private care ...at least they gave me a bit of time...now no one cares unless you have covid or collapse in the street xxxxvery sad and fed up person I am hope someone could help

Oh great to hear from someone...thank you...no Im not in uk anymore...im in southern Italy...I was first prescribed olprezide by a cons cardio yrs ago..it worked for ages with no problems..but for the last few years ive had horrendous side effects which no one believes I can buy over the counter here but am afraid to just switch incase my bp spikes...can I just take something else before olprezide is out if my system....?? Would it be better to take olprezide....which is olmasartan without the diuretic and have a seperate diuretic to take prn??.im pretty sensible about meds as worked for a big pharm co in uk yrs ago..just would like a few more yrs...having escaped covid....nit feeling so weak cranky joint pains an gen awful its nice even knowing someone bothered to reply! Thank you

I’ve given my thoughts on your other post. Personally I wouldn’t think of alternative medication without a proper discussion with a medical professional.
