Bisoprolol and Depression

Bisoprolol and Depression. I have taken Bisoprolol 5m once a day for 22 years and it does help to maintain my BP together with Irbesartan 150mg at a tolerable level of 1555/80-175/85. Anxiety and overdoing it always elevates myBP. My query is depression. I have ongoing depression ever since I take Bisoprolol. I would so love to stop it for a while to see whether I feel better but even missing one dose puts my heart rate up and I feel out of sorts. It's a dilemma. Are there other people who experience depression so consistently with this medication. Aloisia

This doesn't sound good . I have been doing the usual changes . More exercise and healthier eating . I am vegetarian so this has the advantage of lower cholesterol . I never check my own blood pressure because I know it's high and checking all the time makes it go higher . I have been suffering with depression . Just started to take st John's wort . Good luck
