bisoprolol

I don't know if this is the right place to day this however i've been on bisoprolol for a month I haven't gotten a prescription for another yet due to problems and i'm on my last one and i'm worried. Although I think I might've had the lowest mg (mine is 1.25mg) but can anyone tell me if it'll be okay? I heard it'll rise my blood preasure. Again sorry if this isn't the right place!

hello yaya. I’m not sure, from what you say, what problems you are suffering from so it’s hard to know what to say to you.

I’m assuming, though, that you’ve got high blood pressure and nothing else. In which case, you could look at the website of Blood Pressure UK, the charity, for lots more information. Or the NHS website.

Certainly if you’ve been given medication and the doctor has said you should continue to take it, then it would not be wise to stop without a consultation.

I was given it because I had a fast heartbeat but my doctor hasn't said if I can continue it or not and i'm on my last pill and I wasn't given a pescription to renew it and i'm worrying because I don't have anymore for tommorow.

Hi. I take 1.25mg Bisoprolol along with 16mg Candesartan for high BP. Bisoprolol has reduced my heart rate by about 10 beats per minute and my BP is now much better!

contact your GP and ask whether you should continue with this medication or not. 🍀

I have contacted them but they haven't given me an answer and I don't have anymore pills thats whats worrying me
