BP question, kinda complicated

So I quit smoking 2 years ago, the issue I've noticed is, I smoked just a few cigarettes because I been have a bunch go on, I will get this head pressure and chest tightness and I'll take my bp and it'll be as high as 161 over 113 after smoking a cigarette or two and stay around high 90s low 100s all day, then the next day If I don't smoke 120s over 80s, I've told a doctor about this and I know smoking is bad and I don't need to be lectured about that but have any of you all had this issue? Especially smokers? And even if I quit, is this sign of high blood pressure regardless in my future?

I believe its the nicatine that does that. I smoked for yrs and when i stopped it didnt make any difference to my blood pressure. I would recommend you stop taking your own readings and give it a chance. Its most likely because coinstidentel.
