My BLF friends I slept last night for 4 and a half hours yes I’ll say this again 4 and a half hours! .. now, let me tell you if my usual nightly routine ..
I need to sleep in an upright position with my 14 pillows .. if I slide down the mucus becomes so bad I wake up choking, it’s frightening so frightening .. by the time I clear my throat and get myself together I’m exhausted.. so take my inhaler calm my breathing down drink my water as my mouth is so dry .. then I need to pee cause I’ve drank so much water.. you all with me here? .. eventually I nod off then the night sweats come so it’s nightie on .. nightie off.. cover on .. cover off .. fan on .. mouth dry .. drink water.. need a pee and so on and on .. however last night I slept for a solid 4 hours and a half please don’t forget the half hours! .. and that’s on steroids and doxycycline ..
now text all your friends let them all know ..
phone the Sun and all the daily papers and sell my story for a good price..
my mood today is good let’s have a party and be exhausted and in bed for 3 pm.. xx

Strange how with this awful illness something that other people would not give a thought to is so important to us. I am in the opposite stage, i cannot stay awake. It is crazy. I am up all night, then during the day i just want to sleep.
Candyred it so good to hear that you are getting better. These exacerbations can be so frightening. What you said about the mucus collecting on your chest , that rings so true with me. Exactly that scenario, sleep, wake, panic, drink, pee, inhalers, drink, pee, more inhalers.
