A similar thing happened to me a few years ago when I was waking up multiple times during the night to wee. It's exhausting isn't it!

What I discovered was that on the days I went to the gym, where I forced myself to drink 500 ml of water to compensate for moisture lost during my workout, I hardly ever woke for toilet trips on those nights. This was my lightbulb moment and so I increased my water intake during the mornings on a daily basis. I happened to mention this to a nurse who told me that the extra water was diluting my urine and the extra wees I did during the day was getting rid of all the nasty stuff in my bladder.

My advice to you would be to give it a try. Nowadays I still drink lots of water throughout the day and evening - right up until bedtime.

Good luck.

Just remembered some years ago I spoke with a herbalist who advised much of what you're suggesting. I tried this and it (if my poor old memory is working) helped think I just got fed up doing it! But I'm desperate for a sleep - even a few hours would do- so I'm giving it another go staring today. Anything better than taking a med. which I have done and didn't find it helped and a lot of side effects

Drinking helps - the best thing is to distract yourself with positive emotions - as that will switch the response off - and try to wee a lot before bed and wash it with a douche so sit on the side of the bath and flush it with a shower - without that flush I could be in a lot more pain and the stingy wee left around genitals makes u need wee again where as when clean warm and dry it is much better. Dove soap is good or coconut - washing it all down there tires u out and starve a good 3 -4 hours if i u can before sleep maybe - full bowel provokes bladder pain as the wee and poo intertwine in the separate pipes they live in. I have had this for 6 years and have to flush a few times per day. well 3 maybe or more to survive discomfort levels - no joke.
