Night bags

Hi, I'm looking for information on the use of incontinence night bags.

My father in law has a Foley's catheter, at night he connects to a night bag, though has to get up at three am to empty the night bag. I believe it is a two litre bag, which is the only one available, please correct if I am wrong.

Can he join two bags together somehow to avoid having to get up at 3am to empty said bag?

I haven't broached this with him as yet, incase there is nothing available, I don't want to raise any false hopes.

Hi yes there are joiners so can run in tandem or some can connect to end of first bag leaving first empty valve open to fills last one also.

does he have a flip flo valve on catheter?

You can contact Manfred Sauer. Coloplast. Bard and other directly Bard has an on board nurse.

There are some 3litre bags around also

Thanks for your help, I've been able to order a couple of 3ltr bags as free samples from Manfred Sauer for him. We'll see how he gets on with them before asking the nurse for more 3ltr bags. Thanks again.

It's a catch 22 situation! As drink more sleep better but have to pray to the Porcelain Buddha/Bag or drink less sleep less/worse but maybe not Pray at the Porcelain Buddha!

But know if have bags with tap at case and it's on stand you can link a second via tap/port.
