Does any one know if constipation affects bladder? I have been constipated for the first time in my life that I remember (I'm 79) and find that I have constant bladder leak, bad enough to have to wear a pad. Constipation new to me so didn't know how to deal with it, sorry if this too much info but ha d a decent bowel movement this afternoon and felt the pressure on my bladder ease!
p.s. have much more sympathy now with constipation sufferers!!!

Yes. Correct. You could take magnesium safely which will remove constipation and cause a natural bowel movement with no other adverse health effects. An epsom salts bath or even foot soak is another gentle addition. Magnesium spray. You could increase vegetables and add in a nice bone broth soup to help bring it along more regularly. xx
