Thyroxine and thirst ?

So I have just been diagnosed with hashimotos disease and have been given 25mcg of Levothyroxine. Ever since I have started the thyroxine my thirst has increased this is a weird feeling as before I started the medication I was never thirsty. My period is due tomorrow and even though thirst is a usual PMS symptom for me it has been way more intense. today my thirst has decreased and I have been peeing a lot and experiencing some cramps. I am wondering if this change could be due to thyroxine?

(I have also been experiencing sleep issues)
