Nitrofuantion

I have been taking nitrofurantoingp 100mg for 3 days now and have my last tablet to take this evening. But I have been getting really bad headaches and back pain and I don’t. Know what I should do. I feel like shit and want to talk to go to the doctors. What should I do? And I still have pain in the same area I had before I started taking nitrofuantion. I have been drinking a lot and yesterday I drank 6/7 cups of water and I still have this headache and pain and don’t know what to do.

I also have been eating much as I have lost my appetite for the last day or so.

Anyone got any ideas?

I react badly to this antibiotic but you should feel better quite quickly once you stop taking it, personally wouldn't bother with the last pill and if the infection hasn't gone get a different antibiotic

You have to weigh up the pros & cons .If it keeps your kidneys clear put up with it but change ASAP .Making sure you are appropriately targetted which is not happening very often & could cause urosepsis in those whose infections do not show up on tests.
