Hi, I’m just wondering if meds could be causing dizziness and nausea. I spoke to a gp about this yesterday and he is reducing the strength of Digoxin to see if that makes a difference.

Am also taking bisoprolol, mirtazepine, pantoprozole, atorvastatin and aspirin. Anyone else had improvement after meds tweak?

I doubt if there is anyone here who has your exact medical history and medication. But many people need to tweak their medication and presumably are happy.

posters wouldn’t necessarily come back here to report, several weeks later, that medication had changed and their life had improved.

I did report tweaking my my meds and that things had improved . I found that my 80mg artovastatin was causing me issues , I had aches , pains , cognitive impairment, fatigue, dizzy spells , blood pressure drops. Zombie episodes . I was also on Pantaprazole , clopidogrel, aspirin, bisoprolol (1.25mg) ramipril half a 1.25mg tablet. Stopped taking the artovastatin as a trial for about 2 months ( couldn’t get follow up appointment with GP 🤦🏼) and felt fantastic. Was then out on 40mg pravastatin and within a week the zombie episodes returned . My pharmacist was very helpful and supportive and contacted my GP , then tried 10mg Rosuvastatin and it’s been fine 👍🏻. I’m glad I did something about it, most people thought it couldn’t be the statin causing the blood pressure drops , dizziness, fatigue but my GP said it was probably causing a reaction of some sort. I don’t think they really know. No longer have those terrible periods 🙌🏻, they would happen a few times a week .

Glad you got sorted. I agree it’s a trial and error thing to find out if it is meds.

I was taken off the Digoxin and Bisoprolol combination (as prescribed at hospital) as it was causing me all sorts of issues including light-headedness, ectopics, runs of Atac etc. Cardiologist later changed to Sotolol only which generally keeps me in NSR with the odd breakthrough of my normal PAF. Also on Atorvastatin and Rivaroxaban. Feel much better for it.

Good luck with it.

Bisoprolol makes me like a ZOMBIE. I had to stop them immediately. definite NO NO for me.

Bisoprolol caused it for me. Doctor took me off them and it stopped

Bisoprolol caused the same problems for me, along with fatigue. Once I came off it I was fine.
