Yes I should have done that I cannot take my normal antibiotics with digoxin either I am allergic to penicillin and now have to take a new very complicated to take antibiotic thank you for replying and padthai too it certainly does not like mixing much with other types of med. Finicky certainly is the word
I read that Sadly our modern diet is very low in magnesium due to farming methods. if you google it and read several reports it seems digoxin depletes magnesium and it could be beneficial to take magnesium. I have taken it for a long time and feel its very beneficial. If on antibiotics you need to leave a couple of hours either side. But do google it. Many gp's are very reluctant to use anything complementary. Sadly as it can really help. Read up on Sandy Gupta. York cardiologist. He is hot on magnesium for af. Btw the first thing they do in hospital for cardiac events is give magnesium.
Yes Magnesium is HUGELY important for heart health, and yes, most of us are deficient in it, so no wonder so many heart issues nowadays! I have been making my own Magnesium oil for a few years now and I certainly feel it in my heart area if I am low, so quickly apply some to my skin which really helps make me feel a lot better!!
This is where I feel Mag oil could be beneficial with medication, because the oil bypasses the digestive system and goes straight to where it's needed, via the skin.
I know Taurate is the best form for the heart, but chloride (the transdermal oil form) is the second best I believe. Take a look at Dr Sircus and his information about Mag oil.
I buy a large bag of Zechstein (best quality and purest) flakes from ebay, then you need to get a glass bottle (I use a vinegar one) and a plastic spray nozzle to fit it. Then you just dissolve around a 1-2 cup fulls of the flakes with enough water (I use mineral water not tap!) to fill the bottle, and then just spray yourself with it as and when.
It can be itchy in certain places, so you just need to try out what areas are best for you. It's very relaxing immediately, so just be aware if you're about to drive or anything like that. I also make up another bottle to use just at night, which I add lavender and other relaxing essential oils to, which really helps you sleep.
