When I was given my prescription I was advised to wipe after urinating to avoid Thrush due to the extra glucose in my urine. I've been on the medication for 4 months and recently noticed a rash on the head of my penis. It's not sore or itchy and seems to be under the skin. I think it may be Balantis??? Has anyone else had a similar experience?? I've got a doctor's appointment booked in a couple of weeks and will get some Canestan for now.

Dapagliflozin and rash

I went to my GP recently with a foot rash and what the GP prescribed didn't work whereas a subsequent visit to the pharmacy got me sorted. So I suggest you discuss with the pharmacist before you buy anything because you might find that serves you better rather a trip to the GP, and it's certainly easier to do that.
Hi,Yes I had the same thing and used Canestan when it was bad in my genital area. I now just keep myself extremely clean which has alleviated it completely. A wet flannel without soap will do it.
I had similar problems, my cardiologist suggested to try half dose but I still had the same problem. Subsequently he told me to stop with Dapa.
it’s not just your penis, i have a rash on my butt. Possibly Dapa, given trimovate one occasion .secomd time around fusidic acid And lotriderm combo. Varying reactions depending on day.
Was told to wash my butt after toileting.
I've been diabetic for 15 years but started with thrush in November 23. I've been prescribed Canestan and it does reduce the effects. What has worked for me is thoroughly washing the area at least 3 times a day. I use a separate flannel and towel.
