Fifty years ago my father died of a brain hemorrhage (sp) . He suffered with very high blood pressure for years before . So I don’t know where I stand with aspirin - which he didn’t take - as blood thinners . I’ve now been on them for over five years after my bypass . Can anyone educate me on this situation as I thought they prevented blood clots .. confused
