The hospital tell me I do not have angina but booking me in for CT scan. What will they be looking for? Also can I still use the sub lingual spray for breathlessness?

Ct scan

Don't know why having ct scan,I had an angiogram for angina, have mild plaque in arteries, you should only take gtn for heart pain, breathlessness is different- perhaps they want to see lungs and heart
Only the doctor/s requesting you scan can tell you what they might be looking for- we can only guess and that is unlikely to be helpful
As sandandkev says, if your sub-lingual spray is GTN, it is for angina (chest pain due to inadequate blood supply to the heart) - this can also cause breathing problems but if you only have breathing problems you should probably not be taking GTN for it - check with a pharmacist or your doctor
CT scan is typically used to check the condition of your coronary arteries and maybe give you a Calcium score too. The former gives you an indication of the blockages, while the latter confirms calcium deposits.
