That sounds like a lot of drugs. I've only ever had the contrast dye.

I've had it done was a bit scary, had to have a pill under my tongue not to swallow also a canular in my arm they put the dye in and any heart slowing drugs needed. Worst part for me was putting my arms above my head with arthritis in my joints became very painful towards the end

I got told the basic facts by my consultant after the scan, that there was some furring if arteries, but had a letter a few weeks later to say they wanted to do an angiography to get clearer results. That got delayed as I managed to trip over in our local park and break my humerous bone.😓

I had my cardiac catheterization on Wednesday at Royal Devon & Exeter Nothing really to worry about the procedure and they told me what they saw on the same day Home after 3 hours monitoring My result wasn't favourable but that is not to say yours will be the same Hope you have a good result

Ended up with Completely occluded LAD and ended up having a stent. If you look on my history you will see I agreed to go on the ORBITA trial they were running at Basildon cardiothoratic Centre.

had one last year and was nervous like you but all was much better than I expected. I ended up not needing the second drug. If you can try and calm yourself as much as possible when you are there it will help with your heart rate. It is a weird feeling when the dye goes in but over quickly. They will explain each step to you as it happens so just focus on following the instructions. Hope all goes well for you.
