Hi everyone. Just looking for any recommendations for medical alert bracelets. I want one that alerts to more than one condition. (Taking warfarin, have pacemaker, take amiodarone) Am looking for an alternate to having to carry cards around in my purse. Am not always good with some metals and do have sensitive skin so need to consider that as well 😊. But something that is quick and easy to identify if you know what I mean. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

Medical alert bracelet

I wear a cheap and cheerful silicone band that just has “On warfarin” printed on it.
I have one , I am registered with medicalert.org.uk and have been for over 30 years.
There is a yearly subscription but they have registered nurses working for them and are always there for help and advice. They sell medic alert bands necklaces watches etc and come in all metals and silicone. Also, they sell helpful things including car stickers etc. have a look at the website see what you think .
Hope this helps. Keep safe ☺️
hi I bought a pendant complete with chain to go over your head it’s called Dynotag and I bought it of Amazon years ago . You have your own web page that no body can see it only you can make changes to it ,O have all my medications on there my ICD and if I was ever gounf unconscious all a medic has to do is put a QR reader on it and it tells the medics what you are taking and if you have a pacemaker or any other implantation under your skin, .I believe that anybody taken medication that a doctor should know about should where one it’s lightweight so you don’t have any worries i swear by mine , I like you were going to by an sos bracelet but I believe this is better , hope you find what you are looking for and that this information will help you .
Simple silicone band l, think you may be able to customise them with certain sellers . The anaphylaxis one works for me when I go swimming. I couldn’t wear a necklace while doing activities. Quick and easy to see.
I like the silicone bands. Cheap and cheerful.
I’ve got an ICEID wristband which lists the main meds, blood thinners, name, dob, NoK, phone and NHS numbers.
Saw a FB ad for it. Think it was 25 plus postage.
Thank you all. That is brilliant. I just didn't know where to start so this helps a lot 😉
I know this isn't a bracelet, but its something most carry with them every day... Have you added medical information to your mobile phone? most smartphones have a function where you hold down the power button it brings up a medical information button that when pressed displays all your medicines you are on, conditions, height, weight, emergency contacts, allergies, blood type etc.
Google your device type to learn how to add the info.
Only problem with this is that you have to hope nobody pinches your phone while you are writhing about on the floor wanting an ambulance.
...........I'm gonna get a wristband too actually!
We bought so many bracelets through Medical Alert for our son, at least 6, as they always fell off but then paid more for one from Bailey of Sheffield which costs more but hasn't fallen off. Both types have space to list various health conditions.
SOS talisman have a good range of products.
I bought a Help me Home ID Alert Sleeve from Amazon which has a QR code on it and slips over my watch strap. You enter whatever medical conditions you want to, along with meds, GP, next of kin etc., on their website. Paramedics are trained to look for them in the event of an emergency. It is silicone, and in spite of having sensitive skin, I have not had any reaction so far, and it has been over three weeks now since I started wearing it.
You have to be able to open the watch strap to slip it on, it will not go on a permanently fixed strap.
Etsy do a nice range range of medical alert bracelets, I have one with four warnings engraved on the back no extra cost and its great and looks good.
Thank you for posting this. Very helpful , as are the suggestions.
