Medical Alert Bracelet- Pacemaker

I am 33 years old and after having blackouts had a pacemaker fitted in March.

I currently use a silicon bracelet, but its only cheap and has no information on it other than 'medical alert pacemaker fitted'

Does anyone have good recommendations for a personalised bracelet?

Hi Chris, I bought a bracelet from Wollet Magnetic Jewelry on Amazon. The one I bought is metal with a stretch strap. It has the medic alert logo and you open the flap up and there is a paper insert where you can fill in emergency contact, medical condition etc. It wasn’t too expensive either.

It also maybe worth considering putting your health data on your iPhone if you have one. I keep mine updated all the time and when taken into hospital just showed it to the paramedics and hospital staff who were able to take all of my details and they can access it even if the phone is locked. Best wishes Zena

There are lots to choose from on Etsy (like ebay but mainly for crafts and jewellery - I am addicted). I got my silver medic alert bracelet delivered today from Celtic Shore via that platform. I am a 29 year old woman and quite style conscious (read vain ;-)) so it took me a while to find one I liked. But happy with the minimalist silver bangle design. It arrived today and I feel safer already. I managed to fit quite a bit of info inside the bracelet. The top is plain silver with the standard symbol

Thank you Alice, I have spent two + years without a bracelet because I hate the look of most of them.

You have solved my problem for me. I am now off to work out what to say in 70 characters !!

Hi, try Amazon. l bought one for everyday use it was cheap, silicone and waterproof. You email the seller with your medical conditions and it is printed on the inside. Mine is purple with the info in yellow. lt says medical alert on the outside and inside mine says- warfarin, AVR, pacemaker. Then lCE, with my Husbands mobile number. lt also came the next day. Hope that helps.
