phone magnets and medical devices

Just purchased a new phone not sure why they have to make them the size of a handbag these days! Inside the set up guide under precautions and warnings it says magnets may affect implantable medical devices . I am guessing they mean pacemakers etc .I was also wondering about any effects on stents. Any ideas please.

A stent is not an electronic device so a magnet cannot interfere with its operation.

When I had my ICD implanted I was advised to hold the phone on the other side as all mobile phones can interfere with ICDs.

Phones have no effect on stents whatsoever. It's electronic devices they can affect.
