I just want to thank all the kind and helpful people who responded to my post about my husband's tooth extraction prior to triple bypass surgery. I have spoken with both his cardiologist and his surgical team and both have given the go ahead for the extraction, and both feel it is up to the dentist whether or not he will need antibiotics. My mind is now at rest - on that topic at least!

I had my Bypasses over 3 years ago and I do struggle more with the emotional and anxiety side which for some of us it affects this way but hopefully with support and time this will improve for him and if it does not get him to talk with the Doctor as he may need a little support but he will get there x
Since joining this forum last summer I could not help but notice your many kind and supportive posts to others despite fighting your own problems so thank you.
My husband begins rehab in a couple of weeks, so I an hoping meeting others with similar problems will help.
