I have another question about Farxiga please. Emphasis is put on staying hydrated to protect kidneys. Has anyone’s creatinine levels increased after taking Farxiga and do you have to drink more than 64 oz. to counter the effects? Thank you.

I had a cardiac event 11/4/2024 so only been on it 7 weeks to help heart failure . I went to the gp docs yesterday as had a few episodes of dizziness / fainting and fluttering heart beats . along with low blood pressure . Mostly happen it the night early morning when I get up .

The doc had no idea told me I was fine even when I asked if my new meds farxiga and nebivolol could be causing this or needing adjustment

So I was sent off with the usual your heart etc is fine . I researched at home be my own doc and found that It very much can be a side effect and I need to drink a little more and not leave too long between meals

Also my walks for exercise take extra water and a glucose or sugary snack

So as I’m so fatigued I go to bed early and my long fasting time is maybe why the side effects are mostly night early morning

I think if you are concerned about your creatine level a blood test or chat with doc
