Has anyone had any experience with Chelation therapy ? Relative has no options, had angioplasty then quintuple bypass now the drs say new meds and collateral circulation is his only option. Anyone else experience this diagnosis. Trying to think of other ways to deal with options available when they are minimal. He's been to an osteopath, who cannot help; a naturopath who suggested something and that's it. Any other words of advice?

Chelation therapy ?
I don't know much about chelation therapy, but I wonder why you think it would help. From what I have read, it doesn't seem to help heart disease and I am sure you would have to pay a pretty penny for it. I'm sure your relative is feeling desperate at the moment as I do at times, but I find that it doesn't matter what drugs or supplements I take or what advice I take about diet or exercise, nothing seems to help me. Sorry I can't offer anything positive.
Thanks for your honest reply. I guess we are trying to exhaust all avenues available? My relative is very health conscious and trying to do the best he can with all of the info. Maybe the collateral circulation, healthy eating, exercise and meds is the best thing for him? I think there may be a lot of people living with the same diagnosis? At first we thought bypass, stent would be a better option but since that is not an option, we have to work with what we have.
