Do others take their clopidogrol and asprin together or separate. Iv had conflicting advice. One Dr says together the other separate. Thankyou

I was told to take them together by the hospital.

The advice to take together is usually given to ensure the patient remembers to take them. The advice to take them at different times is probably to try and reduce the GI impact. In terms of effectiveness there’s probably very little difference. Follow what you’re advised by your prescriber.

There’s some research that shows that taking anti platelets at night helps reduce the early morning platelet aggregation.

I switched my clopidogrel to after evening meal. Much better for my stomach! Still take the aspirin after breakfast.

I was prescribed CoPlavix which contains an anti platelet and aspirin in the same tablet, so I do not have a choice. No problems after the first few days.
