I’ve just been quoted £850 ish for an annual world wide policy from All Clear, slightly more expensive because USA is included in it.

Or £700 for a single visit USA policy.

Other policy’s might be cheaper if not travelling to the USA as North America seems to bump up policy pricing.

I had DCM with EF down as my pre existing medical condition.

So far I have only had a quote, so Iam not sure if I need to pay my annual policy in full or whether it can be paid in monthly instalments through the year.

We are all different, age, sex, health issues, where we are going, how long etc and the way insurance companies assess risk can differ too. In short there is no such thing as a 'typical premium'.

So the best way of answering your question is to do your own research by trying an online comparison site for travel insurance with pre-existing medical conditions and then take it from there, just like you would do for house or car insurance. More here
