I have atrial fibrillation. I sleep ok but wake up early then I keep dozing off and takes me 3 or 4 hours to have the energy to get up properly., why is this I wonder any advice welcome

Hi there, I find my sleep is very disturbed with Bisoprolol and Apixaban, I have constant vivid dreams. I get up much later that I used to but I do then try to make an effort and fill the day much as I did before. I try to keep determined and try to not have my life ruled by the tablets I take, but I agree it can be difficult.

Your bisoprolol dose is quite low, they’re generally well tolerated by most people. Best of the beta blockers imo and I’ve been on a few.

My dosage is 10mg per day! They do give me very vivid dreams too but I quite enjoy them lol. I have had a lot of artistic and creative experiences and even dreams of past events which I had long forgotten about.

I can’t comment on your other drugs, only that I could not take ramipril myself due to dreadful sleep apnea caused by them. Don’t know if yours are ACE inhibitors?

I am on same dosage as you of bisoprodil
