I wonder if any one can help please? I am constantly feeling tired, fatigued, lethargic and feel like my legs are lead weights! Since my heart attack and stent in March this year I have been taking: Ticagrelor - twice a day; Isosorbide - twice a day; atorvastatin - evening; bisoprolol; lansoprazole; ramipril; aspirin; and eplerenone(all once a day)
Could this tiredness etc be side effects of some of the meds or this spate of hot weather???
It is hard to comment without knowing the seriousness of your HA and and collateral damage. You are now approaching six months so book a medication review. It may be possible to reduce some drugs.
Your body needs time to adjust to your condition and the meds. Warm weather will sap your energy. I used to enjoy walking in the sun but now I try to avoid it.
I’d say it’s probably a combination of both meds and the extremely hot weather. I share your frustration with low energy levels! Sitting down is a no-no as I invariably drop off. Hopefully your body will acclimatise and you’ll get your mojo back soon.
As said. Get the meds reviewed.
Sometimes our meds don't suit us but with a bit of tweaking by the specialists they can find alternatives to those that may be giving you side effects.
My heart failure nurse says I am like a finely tuned Ferrari but there are days when I feel like a Ford Orion.

Bisoprolol is a beta blocker and this will often cause tiredness, my suggestion is to have a meds review with your cardio specialist and try reducing these to the minimum.
There is a dichotomy here, the stress on your heart is being reduced to allow it to heal and to prevent further attacks, but this will reduce your energy levels and consequent quality of life. The objective is to achieve an acceptable balance, but you must provide feedback so they knows all is not well.

Go and see your GP or contact your cardio team, for a review on your medication. They can check you out and make sure the dosages are correct for where you are now in your recovery. Those medications can slow you down, but for good reason, to help you recover. This hot muggy weather is, very draining. I have made a full recovery from my heart op, but as soon as that temp gauge hits +75 farenheit I feel like a sloth. Can't believe I'm longing for Autumn.

I have a similar situation to you, but key differences so take what you will from this. Just over 12 months ago an unexplained HA and Cardiac arrest - two stents and pretty much the same medication as you.
Prior to the event, I had lung, breathlessness, stomach, and massive tiredness issues (all treated separately), but with no hint of any of it being cardio related (normal readings).
After being put on the same meds as you, my headaches and tiredness increased. I was pretty much left on my own to get on with stuff and had to be the driver for investigation.
So, the one issue, for me, appeared to be the Bisoprolol. I was discharged with Ivabradine and switched to the betablocker, and my symptoms worsened, so have switched back (all the time my BP and cholesterol remained normal) and noticed a slight improvement. I was looking for improvements when others were switched and have had some improvement, I have stopped the Ramapril and now the Trigrecalor. I have also tried 4/5 statins ( I'm sure you have seen both sides of the argument on here and they both have merit) in the search and am now off them completely, but may return. Anyway, enough of all that, this next bit should be useful.
One of the early referrals was to Salford Royal CFS team, which treats a number of related issues. You are probably no where near Manchester, but the link to their booklet is below and is really useful and has some crossover areas with cardio rehab.

I can empathise with this. I'm in the process of increasing one of my meds at the moment (after a couple of years with no changes) and have the same symptoms of fatigue that you describe. It's frustrating that heart disease medication so often has side effects rather like the symptoms of heart disease they're designed to treat. And hot/clammy weather definitely doesn't help.
As others have said, a review of your medication might help. I take a slightly lower dose of beta blockers than I used to and reducing it did help to alleviate some of the tiredness I experience. Also, six months is still early days and your body will still be getting used to the meds. Your tolerance will hopefully continue to increase over coming months.

Lansoprazole lists one of its side effects as tiredness with longer term use - check the NHS website. All of the PPI medications can also reduce your bodies ability to absorb essential vitamins and minerals from your diet, causing a wide range of symptoms - something that is frequently overlooked!
Hot weather doesn’t help either!
